Large quantities of unlicensed medicines have been seized by Department of Health officials during a search of a house in Glengormley.
A male was talked to by department officers about unlawfully importing and subsequently supplying unlicensed via the web.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medication offenses.
He will now be the topic of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
The search was brought out by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, stated: “It is vital that we get the message across that unlicensed medicines can be unsafe.
“These types of items being sold, normally online, have gone through no quality assurance and there can be no assurance about their safety.
“You simply do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More notably, you do not understand the effect drugs like this may have on your health.”
